A Science Entertainment Collective

Established in 2012 in Lausanne, Switzerland, The Catalyst is an offical association established by scientific researchers and professionals who came together to have fun and use improvisation theater as a means of engagement with the public. The Catalyst is a non-profit association.

The Catalyst is open to anyone - scientists and non-scientists alike. The skills of improv theatre are useful for:

  • Public speaking and presentations

  • Fosters creativity

  • Fun and a great way to engage with a diverse group of passionate people
