A Science Entertainment Collective

Established in 2012 in Lausanne, Switzerland, The Catalyst is a group of scientific researchers and professionals who came together to have fun and use improvisation theater as a means of engagement with the public. The Catalyst is a non-profit association.

The Catalyst is open to anyone - scientists and non-scientists alike. The skills of improv theatre are useful for:

  • Public speaking and presentations

  • Fosters creativity

  • Fun and a great way to engage with a diverse group of passionate people
